Robert Brewster :: 2009 NFL Draft Prospect

Robert is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio where he was a two sport standout in football and basketball at Wyoming High School. As a senior, Robert was named Cincinnati Hills League Offensive Player of the Year, Tremendous 26, and Division III Player of the Year. In addition, Robert was selected all-City and all-State. Robert graduated from Wyoming High School in 2005, and moved on to Ball State University.

In 2005, as a true freshman, Robert developed into a regular on the offensive line appearing in all 11 games while starting the first 4 games at right tackle and the final 7 games at right guard.

In 2006, as a sophomore, Robert continued to be a mainstay on the offensive line starting in all 12 games at right tackle.

In 2007, as a junior, Robert once again started in all 13 games as a right tackle. For his efforts, Robert was named First-Team All-Midwest American Conference.

In 2008, as a senior, Robert continued as a stalwart on the offensive line once again starting all 14 games at right tackle. Robert finished the season with 117 pancakes and anchored an offensive line that blocked for the nations 17th ranked major college offense (442.5 ypg), 18th ranked scoring offense (34.93 ppg), 24th ranked passing offense (258.0 ypg), and 31st ranked rushing offense (184.5 ypg). For his efforts, Robert was named First-Team All Midwest American Conference for the second straight season.

For his career, Robert started all 50 games at either right tackle or guard in his collegiate career. Robert was born on July 30, 1986, is single, and will graduate with his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice (Summer 2009). Robert played in the 2009 Texas vs. The Nation All-Star Challenge and will also be participating in the 2009 NFL Combine, in Indianapolis, Indiana..
